Free eBook : eLearning Technology
BJ Schone has published a nice eBook and has an associated blog that provides some interactions that can be used in eLearning that will make the learning more fun and engaging. Some of the interactions he talks about are :
- Scatter steps
- Order of importance
- Find the mismatch
- Story-based questions
- Scavenger hunt
Branching storiesI was planning to also point folks to other lists of these kinds of interactions (which I believe are out there), but for some reason I couldn't easily find them.
Free eBook : Learning 2.0
I’ve updated this post to indicate the download options more clearly - 10-Aug-2008.
I put together an eBook based on a presentation on Learning 2.0 that I did back in the fall (original presentation available on SlideShare). This is a very nice looking document–for which the credit goes entirely to the editor, Celisa Steele. I hope it is also a helpful document for those who may be new to Learning 2.0 and social media in general or who are looking for a good tool to help educate others in their organization.

The examples in the book are primarily from the association world, but readers from other types of organization will find both the examples and the report in general to be useful. The intended audience is anyone new to social media and how tools like blogs, wiki, podcasts, and social networks can be used in learning-centric initiatives.
Readers who already make significant use of social media technologies may find some of the content a bit basic, but the examples and the general thinking about Learning 2.0 as a concept may nonetheless be helpful. Additionally, those readers who are more advanced may find this report to be a useful tool for educating others in their organizations.
